— CUMBERLAND — Jearl Wayne Conrad, 66, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at his home.

Born Feb. 20, 1948, in Smoke Hole, W.Va., he was the son of the late Denver Julius Conrad and Verda Ethel (Judy) Conrad.

Jearl operated a concession stand at the Allegany County District Court; he was also an employee of Blind Industries. He was a former member of First Christian Church; the Goodfellowship Club and the Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Leona M. Conrad; a son, Kevin Conrad and wife Kathleen, Hagerstown; a brother, Jack Judy, Petersburg, W.Va.; four sisters, Virginia “Ginger”  Goding and husband Howard, Orlando, Fla., Jennifer Weese and husband Frank, Norma Bible, and Marcella Hartman, all of Petersburg; as well as a sister-in-law and caregiver, Eva Kelly and Larry Timbrook.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland,  (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m.

A graveside service will be conducted at North Folk Cemetery, Riverton, W.Va., on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at noon with the Rev. Mark Durst officiating.
