WILLIAM W. FINK [Green Spring, W.Va.]

GREEN SPRING, W.Va. — William Webster Fink, 81, of Green Spring, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at Dawn View Manor, Fort Ashby, W.Va.

Mr. Fink was born on April 18, 1932 in Cabin Run, W.Va., son of the late Luther and Delphia M. (Bowers) Fink.

Besides his parents, Mr. Fink was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen “Kathy” A. Fink; three brothers, Frankie Fink, Walter Fink and Luther Fink; and one sister, Myrtle Fink.

Mr. Fink was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army and he was a member of the VFW. His grandchildren will dearly miss their “Beloved Pappy”. We know he is at peace being united with his beloved wife, Kathy.

Surviving are one son, William “Bill” R. Fink and wife, Darla, Fort Ashby; three daughters, Shirley Kline, Cumberland, Glenda S. Travitz and husband, Paul, Montana, Darlene J. Parsons and husband, Richard, Short Gap, W.Va.; one brother, Glenn Fink, Short Gap; one sister, Betty Blamble, Aurora, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Taylor, Kayla and Tristan Fink; and Kenton and Richie Parsons.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Eisenhower officiating.

Interment will be at Springfield Hill Cemetery, Springfield, W.Va., with military honors.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, W.Va.
