— PETERSBURG, W.Va. — Rebecca Jane Snyder Peters died on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013.

Born on Dec. 4, 1938, in Richwood, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Gail Hiser Snyder.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Walbert J. “Pete” Peters; her three sons, Michael, David and Adam; three granddaughters; two sisters and one brother.

She graduated from Woodstock High School in India, West Virginia University and completed a nutrition internship at the State University of Iowa. For 35 years, she was a consultant to health care facilities in Ohio, Indiana, Maryland and West Virginia. She was a pianist who played and taught for many years in her community and church. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church.

She lived life to the fullest every day and leaves behind no regrets.

She leaves a multitude of people who will miss her deeply.

As per her wishes her body will be cremated and a celebration of life service will be held at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Petersburg, W.Va. in the upcoming weeks.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of your choice.
