HUBBARD, Ohio — Mary Frances Steele, 90, formerly of Hubbard, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Liberty Health Care Center with her loving family at her side.
Mary was born Nov. 21, 1922, in Cumberland, a daughter of Frank E. and Marie L. Gero Williams. She came to Warren in 1942 and to Hubbard in 1953.
She worked in the produce department at A & P Grocery Store in Warren and Youngs-town, and Lawsons in Hubbard. She was a member of Hubbard Rebecca Lodge 758.
Her husband Robert H. Steele, whom she married Oct. 26, 1946, passed away March 1, 1994.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen L. Banic and Francie (Dana) Johnson, both of Hubbard; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; her sons, Richard H. Steele and William E. Steele; her sister, Catherine Hinkle and her brother, James E. Williams.
There will be calling hours on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, from 1 to 3 p.m. and prayers on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at 9:15 a.m. at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Feb. 4, 2012, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Youngstown, at 10 a.m.
Mary will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
