FROSTBURG — Donald Roy Jenkins Jr., 47, of Frostburg, died Monday, Feb, 4. 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born March 28, 1965, in Elkton, he was the son of Mary Ann (Lindeman) Brandeberry and the late Donald Roy Jenkins Sr. He was also preceded in death by one cousin, Annette Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was a correctional officer for WCI, Cresaptown. He was a member of the Wednesday Night Mixed League at The Bowler, Bassmasters and was a sports fan of the Terps, Orioles and Colts.

He is survived by his wife, Christine D. (Rosenberger) Jenkins; two sons, Joshua Bowen Jenkins and wife, Mingi, Tyler Edward Jenkins; a daughter, Ashley Erin Jenkins; step-father, Don Brandeberrry; paternal grandmother, Hazel Jenkins; several cousins including three, Ricky, Roy and Teasa Jenkins, with whom Donnie grew up; brothers and sisters-in-law, Karla Morgan and husband, Rodney, Jeffrey Rosenberger and wife, Amanda; father-in-law, Carl “Rosie” Rosenberger and wife, Kathy; nieces and nephews, Donna Morgan, Justin Morgan, Caitie Rosenberger and Gracie Rosenberger; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Agnew and the Rev. Caroline Penick officiating.

Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Rosenberger, Rodney Morgan, Ricky Jenkins, Jesse Jenkins, Cody Jenkins, Joshua Jenkins, Joe Railey and Christian Jenkins and honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Jenkins, Justin Morgan, Uncle Kenny Jenkins, Tom Hawks, Roy Jenkins Uncle Dick Jenkins and Uncle Bob Race.

Expressions of sympathy may be directed in care of the family.
