— BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — Juanita Van Horn, 92, of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012 at War Memorial Hospital.

 Born Aug. 31, 1920 in Hampshire County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Lillia Bell Shanholtzer Peters.

 She attended Hampshire Public schools. She was a homemaker all her life.

Juanita is survived by four daughters, Janet L. Didawick of Berkeley Springs, Sandra K. Moreland of Slanesville, W.Va., Carol Ann Racey of Winchester, Va. and Patty J. Abe of Oldtown; 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Clarence Herbert Van Horn Jr.; one daughter, Connie Jolley; four sisters, Rhodia Kidwell, Orpha Bohrer, Gustava Peters and Lora Peters; two brothers, Homer Peters and Floyd Peters.

 Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 in Woodrow Union Cemetery, Paw Paw, W.Va., with Pastor Ed Floyd officiating.
