— LAVALE — Jean Kathryn (Yommer) Livengood, 81, of LaVale, formerly of Grantsville, died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born Oct. 6, 1932, at Grantsville, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Beulah (Younkin) Yommer. Mrs. Livengood was also preceded in death by her husband, George Clayton Livengood on Oct. 17, 2003 and a grandson, David Wilson.

Mrs. Livengood was the bookkeeper for Livengood Plumbing and Heating. She was a member of the Homemaker’s Club and volunteered at the gift shop at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Surviving is one son, Bradley C. Livengood and wife Millie, of Gaithersburg; one daughter, Julia L. Wilson and husband Thomas, of  Kissimmee, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Spencer Livengood, Chase Livengood, Victoria Livengood, Keri Anne Livengood, Sara Underwood, Adam Wilson and Rachel Wilson and two sisters, Gloria Martin and Patricia Jones, both of Grantsville.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Karen Tate officiating.

Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
