— FALLING WATERS, W.Va. — Kathryn Anne Zimowski Roark, 64, of Falling Waters, W.Va., passed away Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at her residence.

Mrs. Roark was born March 22, 1949, in Hagerstown, the daughter of the late Zigmund F. and Wilma Donna Keys Zimowski.  

She was a supervisor for the Old Williamsport Tannery until it closed, then worked as a clerk for the Credit Union in Orange County, VA.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Kathryn married Paul P. Roark on April 28, 2004, in Lake Louisa, Va.   

Along with her husband, she is survived by sons, Matthew J. Peterson, of Baltimore, Ryan J. Peterson, of Hagerstown, Richard R. Roark and his wife Meredith, of Frederick, Matthew S. Roark and his wife Cassy, of Winchester, Va. and Joe Phillips, of Arlington, Va.; daughter, Nicole Phillips, of the Peace Corps in Dominican Republic; four granddaughters, Olivia, Taylor, Grace and Emma who all knew her as “Kiki”; brother, John Zimowski and his wife Patricia, of Brooksville, Fla.; sister, Jane Griffith and her husband Blaine, of Oakdale, Calif; close dear friends, Sharon Yeakle, Bobsy Price, Joe Lynch and Matt Wehland, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
