CUMBERLAND — Ida Mae Dougherty, 91, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at her home.
Born Aug. 30, 1922, in Cumberland, Mrs. Dougherty was the daughter of the late Glisan Porter and Anna Elizabeth (McCarty) Porter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Dougherty; a son, Harold E. Dougherty; a grandson, Scott Joseph Dougherty and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Ida retired from the Celanese Fibers Corporation of America and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her sons, Dale O. Dougherty and wife Janet, Timothy J. Dougherty Sr. and wife Paulette, all of Cumberland and Robin P. Dougherty, of Westernport; her grandchildren, Alexandra Bandy, Erin Dougherty, Kristi Wiley, Timothy “Joe” J. Dougherty Jr. and Michael D. Morgan; as well as nine great-grandchildren.
At Ida’s request, services will be private.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to WMHS, Home Hospice for the care and compassion given to Ida.

ROMNEY, W.Va. — Terry Leroy Redman, 66, of Romney, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at the VA Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
Born on Dec. 4, 1945, in Keyser, W.Va., he was the son of Roy Redman of Fort Worth, Texas and the late Juanita (Washington) Redman.
He graduated from Piedmont High School, attended Potomac State College then on to Frostburg State College to graduate. He served two tours in Viet Nam.
Surviving is his wife, Joan (Taylor) Redman; a son, Stephen Redman, of Romney; a daughter, Keisha Waddell, of Ohio; a sister, Margaret Hainsworth, of Fort Worth, Texas; two brothers, Tim Redman, of Fort Worth and William Redman, of Stafford, Va. and two grandchildren, Jada and Ariel Waddell.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening 7 to 9 p.m. at McKee Funeral Home, 115 E. Birch Lane, Romney.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. in the McKee Funeral Home, Romney, with Dr. Roy Knight officiating.
Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to Dr. Roy Knight and especially all of the staff at the Washington Veterans Medical Center.
