LISTONBURG, Pa. — Pauline F. Hoover Thomas, 95, a resident of Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, formerly of Listonburg, Pa., passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

She was born February 19, 1919, in Markleton, Pa., a daughter of Charles M. and Grace A. (Beachy) Younkin. Husbands, Marshall W. Hoover and Frank H. Thomas, daughter Mabel J. (Hoover) Suder, brother, Galen Younkin, daughter, Rita (Thomas) Burow and grandson, Gregory L. Hoover preceded her in death.

She is survived by children, Leanna (Thomas) Burow and husband, Carl, and Peggy (Thomas) Mackey, both of Confluence, Pa., Delores (Thomas) Perry and husband, Bill, Central Lake, Mich., Frank Harold Thomas and wife, Peg, Natchitoches, La., James Hoover and wife, Helen, Cumberland, Kay (Thomas) Koontz and husband, Tom, Mesa, Ariz., Roger Hoover and wife, Laura, Addison, Pa., Jack Hoover and wife, Linda, Magnolia, Texas, Tom Thomas and wife, Ellen, Newville, Pa.; son-in-law, Rev. Joseph Suder, Kissimmee, Fla.; 28 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, 32 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild;
sisters, Faye Poling, Grafton, W.Va., Ruby Hough and husband, Carl, Gladwin, Mich. and Helen King, Scullton, Pa.

Pauline was a homemaker and a member of Old Bethel Church.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2014, in the Old Bethel Church with the Rev. Duane Riddle and the Rev. Joseph Suder officiating. There will be viewing at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment in Addison Cemetery.
