— FRIENDSVILLE — Donald

Harvey Umbel, 66, of

Friendsville, died Wednesday,

Jan. 15, 2014, at Monongalia

General Hospital, Morgantown,

W.Va.

Born July 11, 1947, in

Friendsville, he was the son of

the late Joseph and Margaret

(Fike) Umbel.

Mr. Umbel was a boat

builder for Demaree Inflatable

Boats and he was a member of

The Anchor, Woodmen of the

World, Camp 45 and Baush &

Lomb Early Settlers Club.

He is survived by one

daughter, Barbara Fuller and

husband, Robert, Accident;

three brothers, Ronald Umbel

and wife Nancy, Friendsville,

Raymond Umbel and wife

Wanda, Mt. Washington, Ky.,

Richard Umbel and Carolyn,

Oakland; and three grandchildren,

Lauren, Lyndsay and

Hannah.

Friends will be received at

the Newman Funeral Homes,

P.A., 943 Second Ave.,

Friendsville, on Friday from 2

to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted

in The Anchor on Saturday,

Jan. 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. with the

Rev. Michael Robinson officiating.

Friends may call at the

church one hour prior to the

services.

Interment will be in the

Steele Cemetery.
