— FROSTBURG — Lester Joseph Wilson, 64, of Frostburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his home.

Born May 22, 1948, in Cumberland, Mr. Wilson was the son of the late William Wilson and Mary Elizabeth (Toler) Leasure.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Wilson.

A United States Naval veteran of the Vietnam Era, Lester was owner of Wilson Auto Sales. He was a member of the LaVale Baptist Church, the Potomac Lodge 100 A.F.&A.M., the Scottish Rite, and the CHIPS Program.

Lester is survived by his wife of eight years, Brenda Lee Wilson; his daughter, Amy Wilson, Cumberland; and his stepsons, Adam Crites and wife, Britney and Bryan Crites, all of Cumberland. He also leaves behind a sister, Virginia Mongold, Wiley Ford, W.Va.; his sister-in-law, Mary Wilson, Short Gap, W.Va.; his grandchildren, Sidney Carroll, Killian Carroll, Katney Kavanaugh, Nevaeh Crites, Camryn Crites, and Dakota Crites; as well as his special friend and canine companion, “Ebony.”

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland,  ( on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 24, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

The Potomac Lodge 100 A.F.&A.M., will conduct a memorial service on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Jeffries officiating.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Post 13 Veterans Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be James Tester, William Wilgus, Adam Crites, Wes Boor, and Wayne Lockard. Honorary pallbearer will be William Lafferty.
