FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — Judy Ann McKenery, 63, of Fort Ashby, W.Va., died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 21, 1949, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Ira Washington Hott and Margie Kathryn (Foley) Hott.
Judy graduated from Fort Ashby High School, class of 1967. She was a homemaker and attended Green Spring Assembly of God.
Survivors include her two children, Cassandra Poole and husband John, of Keyser and Joseph McKenery Jr. and wife Christy, of Perryville; four grandchildren, Tyler and Stephanie Poole and Hunter and Kaitlyn McKenery; a great-grandson, Cayden Heavener, and due to arrive in June, Trenton Poole. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Rizer, of Fort Ashby; a niece, Ashley Bernier, her husband Jay, and their children, Richard and Brooklyn, of Fort Ashby; aunts and uncles, including Richard and Helen Foley and a special cousin, Karen Leatherman.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Fred Parker officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Glen Cemetery.
