HOWARD “JIM” E. WOLF [Cumberland]

— CUMBERLAND — Howard “Jim” Eugene Wolf, 77, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013, at his home.

Born Nov. 29, 1935, in Oakland, Mr. Wolf was the son of the late Andrew Wolf and Beulah (Platter) Wolf Barnes. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Wolf.

A United States Air Force veteran during the Korean Conflict, Jim was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 37. He was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Cumberland Congregation.  

Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Raye Etta (Stallings) Wolf; his daughter, Diane Wolf-Latham and husband Marty, of Pomeroy, Wash. and his son, Howard “Chip” Wolf and wife Amie, of Finzel. He also leaves behind his brothers, William Wolf and wife Marlene, of Ridgeley, W.Va. and Kenneth Wolf and wife Donna, of Palm Bay, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at 10 a.m. in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, with Speaker Don Ward presiding.
