Deputy Bradley C. Timbrook II [Romney]

Romney — ROMNEY, W.Va. — Deputy Bradley Clay Timbrook II, 24, of Romney, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, in Cumberland, Md.

Born on Oct. 20, 1985, in Winchester, Va., he was the son of Bradley Clay I of Shanks, and Elizabeth A. (Nelson) Timbrook of Romney.

He worked as a deputy sheriff for the Hampshire County Sheriffs Department. He was a 2004 graduate of Hampshire High School and a 2009 graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy.

Surviving with his parents are two sisters, Nicole Elizabeth Timbrook and Rachel B. Timbrook, both of Romney; a half brother, Dustin Timbrook; a half sister, Ann Marie Timbrook, both of Shanks; maternal grandmother, Shirley Nelson of Romney; paternal grandmother, Melica Marie Timbrook of Shanks; aunts and uncles, Linda Nelson and husband Jackie of Romney, Robert E. Nelson Jr. of Romney, Tim Timbrook and wife Sherry of New Jersey, Alan Ray Timbrook and wife Debi of Shanks, Sandy Bohrer and husband Jeff of Shanks, Sue Timbrook of Augusta; and several cousins. Brad was blessed with many special friends.

Brad was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert E. Nelson Sr.; and paternal grandfather, Ray Timbrook.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at 1 p.m. in the Augusta Church of Christ with Minister David Bradfield officiating.                                                             

Interment will follow in Mt. Dale Cemetery, Shanks.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Augusta Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deputy Bradley C. Timbrook II Memorial Fund, 66 N. High St., Room 2, Romney, WV 26757.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta.
