— CUMBERLAND — Edith Juanita (Kerns) Margraff, 101, of Cumberland, died Friday, July 5, 2013, at The Lions Center.

Born April 16, 1912, in Evenwood, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Luther W. and Zoey (Warner) Kerns. She was also preceded in death by husbands Charles Holtzman and Fred Margraff; four brothers, Stelman, Ivan, Ernest and Flick Kerns and three sisters, Virginia Miller, Nelda Rephan and Helen Burns.

Mrs. Margraff had worked at the Cumberland Celanese Plant. She belonged to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Baldwin and husband Jim, of Cumberland; one brother, Louis Kerns, of Cumberland; two grandchildren, Perian Baldwin, of Cumberland and Steven W. Baldwin and wife Darlene, of Oakton, Va. and three great-granddaughters, Ashley, Taylor and Carlyn Baldwin.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Randall Larry officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
