CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. — Kathy Brodie Lambert, 46, of Charlottesville, Va., passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, Va., after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born May 28, 1966, in Cumberland, she grew up in Lonaconing and later Annapolis.
After graduating from Easton High School, She moved to Lake Anna, Va., where she established herself as an award winning Real Estate Developer, Agent and Broker. In 2007, Kathy was a founding partner of Lake Anna Island Realty.
She shared her zest for life, passion for all things Lake Anna and her love of the Outer Banks, N.C., with her beloved husband Bobby and dog Jaxson. She is also survived by step daughter, Ashleigh Lauren Lambert, of Dallas, Texas; loving parents, Leah Jean Cook Brodie and John “Jack” Edward Brodie and his wife Nancy; loving sister, Bonnie Jean Langford; nieces Amy Beth Brown and her husband Justin and Julie Nicole Langford and fiance Rob Howden; a great-nephew Jeremiah Jack, all of Eastern Shore; Bobby’s parents Bob and Shirley Lambert, of the Outer Banks, N.C.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Larry Laverty, and their sons Andrew and Jacob, of Haymarket, Va. and her entire extended Lake Anna family.
