CLARK M. MALLOW [Flintstone]

FLINTSTONE — Clark Martin Mallow, 60, of Flintstone, peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at his home.

Born Oct. 2, 1953, in Cumberland, Mr. Mallow was the son of the late Alston F. Mallow and Emma I. (Twigg) Mallow. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Josh Robinette and the love of his life, Tammy Mallow.

Clark was a graduate of Flintstone High School. He served in the United States Army and retired from the Local 1024 Carpenters’ Union after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Flintstone Volunteer Fire Department.

Clark was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was always there anytime anybody needed him and never met a stranger. Clark had a heart of gold and loved everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially his family.

Clark is survived by his son, Marty Mallow and wife, Kelli, Flintstone; and his daughter, Trixie Headley and husband, Brian, Beans Cove, Pa. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Devon and Sarah Mallow, Clayton and Makensie Headley, Daniel and Nathan Robinette; and his great-granddaughter, Adalynn Mallow. Clark is also survived by his brothers, Leonard T. Twigg and wife, Nancy, Williamsburg, Va., Donald L. Mallow and wife, Maggie, Sterling, Va.; his sisters, Lois R. Galvan and husband, Skip, Wiley Ford, W.Va., Vivian E. Helsley and husband, Bob, Springfield, W.Va., Brenda C. Collins and husband, Bill, Stafford, Va., and Judy K. Footen and husband, Fran, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Friday, June 27, 2014, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Per his wishes, a memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 8 p.m. with Tammy Twigg presiding.

Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Post 13 Veterans Honor Guard at 6 p.m.
