ELAINE A. KLINE [Augusta, W.Va.]

AUGUSTA, W.Va. — Elaine Alice Kline, 86, of Augusta, W.Va., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born on Sept. 26, 1926, in Delray, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Stanley Russell Mowery and Nancy Ada (Nealis) Mowery. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth L. Kline, in 1995; five sisters, Catherine Maxine Oates, Dorothy F. Bryant, Wilma L. Cheshire, Avery Smith and Barbara A. Ritz and six brothers, Stanley Mowery Jr., John Mowery, Arthur Mowery, Donald Mowery, Harold Mowery and Frank Mowery.

Elaine was the co-owner and operator of K.L. Kline Egg Farm. She was a member of the Augusta Church of Christ and a graduate of Capon Bridge High School, class of 1944.

Surviving are two sons, Belmont Kline and Bradley Kline, both of Augusta; two daughters, Kitty Lee, of Augusta and Kay Buckles, of Takoma, Wash.; two sisters, Nancy Wolfe, of Delray and Rosalie Heishman, of Romney; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, W.Va.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at 11 a.m. in McKee Funeral Home Chapel, Augusta, with James Ward, Minister.

Interment will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, Augusta, W.Va.

All arrangements are being handled by McKee Funeral Home, Augusta, W.Va.
