— MIDLAND — Ann Louise (Kenney) Mills, 79, of O’Mara Avenue, Midland, died Sunday, June 15, 2014, at Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing.

Born on May 12, 1935 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Leo Alphonsus Kenney and Edna (Loar) Kenney.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Fonce Kenney.

Ann was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Midland, where she was part of St. Joseph’s Sodality. In her younger days she enjoyed playing for the women’s softball league in Midland, Yeager’s Team. She was an avid Notre Dame and Maryland football and basketball fan.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years on June 5, 2014, Brennie Mills; two children, Leo Joseph Mills and wife Kathy of Mount Savage and Brenda Preston and husband Carey of Swanton; three grandchildren, Angela Marie Mills of LaVale, Sarah Ann Morgan and husband Terry of Cascade and Corey Dale Preston and wife Sara of New Germany; one great-grandson, Chase Allen Preston; three sisters, Ellen Whetstone of Vale Summit, Edna Fair and husband Dick of Midland and Sarah Cesnick and husband Gene of Midland; three brothers, Mike Kenney and wife Margie of Frostburg, Ed “Doc” Kenney and Kay of Midland and Paul Kenney and wife Linda of Klondike; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Wilhelm-Eakin Funeral Home, P.A., Midland, on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 2 to 6 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Midland, with Father Ed Hendricks, celebrant.

Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Midland.
