LINDA L SPARKS [Fort Ashby, W.Va]

FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — Linda Lou Sparks, 64, of Fort Ashby, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at home.

Born May 20, 1949 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of Lois (Bennett) Silvious, Cumberland, and the late Kenneth Silvious.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Aaron Daniel Kimble.

Linda was a graduate of Fort Hill High School, class of 1967.

She had served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era. Mrs. Sparks had been a machinist with CSX.  She later worked at Pilgrim’s Pride.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Sparks’ immediate family includes her three children, Michele Sanders, Van Wert, Ohio,  Kevin Sanders and wife, Leigh Ann, Keyser, and Brandon Kimble, Fort Ashby; six grandchildren, Galen Evans, Joshua, Jada, and Jett Sanders, Shaun Brady, and Trenton Kimble; one brother, Kenneth Silvious Jr., Orange Park, Fla.; two nephews, Brian and Scott Silvious; and a niece, Candi Kilgore and their families and several cousins.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Jerry Eisenhour, officiating.
