RANDY T. LAW [Cumberland]

CUMBERLAND — Randy Thomas Law, 70, of Cumberland, passed away on Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 at home.  

Born Oct. 31, 1943 in Cumberland he was the son of the late Timothy and Virginia (Long) Law.  He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Ronald Smith.

Randy was a United States Veteran of the Army and served in the Vietnam era.  He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172, the Cumberland Eagles, The Moose, and the Cumberland V.F.W.  Randy enjoyed watching football especially the Colts and the Saints, NASCAR, and the Baltimore Orioles.

Surviving are his daughters, Kelly Sliger and husband, Joseph of Cresaptown and Joyce LoveJoy and husband, Tony of Ohio; step-children Johna Walters and husband, Billy, Sherry McAttee and husband, Robert, Donna Crosten, and Johnny Carol and wife, Kim; his sister, Judy Smith of Carpendale, W.Va.; grandchildren, Chris Austin, Corey Burchfield, Elizabeth Burchfield, Caitlin Hubbard, Zoey Lovejoy, Johnny Crosten, Jamie Steward and numerous more; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Gabriel and several more; three nieces, Wendy, Kathy and Sherry; two nephews, Butch and Dale; very special friend Kenny.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. ( 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery, Rocky Gap.

Military honors will be accorded by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172.
