SPOKANE, Wash. — Angela May (Ruppenkamp) Justice, 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Cumberland, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013 in Spokane while visiting her son, Everett.

Born in Cumberland, March 30, 1924, she was the daughter of the late John and Clara (O’Neal) Ruppenkamp. Be-sides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Justice Sr.; and two brothers, Robert Ruppenkamp and James Ruppenkamp.

She graduated from Saint Mary’s High School in 1942. Angela shared her Catholic faith with her sons and grandchildren. A loving mother, she found joy in life and loved making friends. Angela enjoyed board games and cards with family and friends as well as visiting new and interesting places and trying different foods. She would go to sleep each night with her rosary in her hand.

She is survived by her sons, Everett W. “Bud” Justice Jr. and wife Jane, Priest Lake, Idaho, Kenneth J. Justice and wife Barbara, Corpus Christi, and David L. Justice and wife Patty, Animas, N.M.; a sister, Frances Growden, Bedford, Pa.; two brothers, Edward Ruppenkamp and wife Mary, Cumberland, and Raymond Ruppenkamp, Cumberland; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland ( on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake service will be held at the funeral home at 3:30 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Fr. Steve Fernandes, O.F.M., Cap. as celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
