ISABELL (LORIA) GRILLI [Clarksburg, W.Va.]

— CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Isabell Loria Grilli, 100, of Clarksburg, departed this life on July 5, 2013, in Pittsburgh, Pa.

She was born in Boomer, W.Va., on Jan. 8, 1913, a daughter of the late Patsy Loria and Mary Cody Loria.

Her husband, Ernest Carl Grilli, preceded her in death on June 1, 1983.

Mrs. Grilli is survived by four sons, Carl Grilli and wife Doris, Ernest “Babe” Grilli, John Grilli and wife Diane, and Joe Grilli and wife Vickie, all of Clarksburg; two daughters, Edna Ferrella and husband Tony of Monroeville, Pa. and Marie Robinette and husband Roger of LaVale. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, Carl Grilli and wife Jennifer, Lisa Hern and husband Daren, Rodney Grilli and wife Stephanie, Angela Grilli, Michael Grilli and wife Carrie, Jennifer Looker and husband Mike, John Grilli and wife Nova, Joey Grilli, Sammy Ferrella and companion Audrey, Brenda Ferrella, Anthony Ferrella and wife Deanna, Diane Verrico and husband Tony, Robbie Robinette and wife Tracey, Brian Robinette and wife Christy; 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Francis Ross of Detroit.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Grilli was preceded in death by one daughter, Marsha Grilli; one granddaughter, Kimberly Robinette; three brothers, Frank “Tin Can” Loria, Dominick Loria, Pat Loria; and three sisters, Joann Ferrell, Betty Griffith and Ann Fiber.

Mrs. Grilli loved playing card games with her friends and enjoyed bingo. She was dedicated to her family, and loved Sunday dinners in her home with her family.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St., Nutter Fort, W.Va., on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

 There will be a prayer vigil on Monday at the funeral home at a time to be announced.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Stonewood, W.Va., with Father Patsy Iaquinta as celebrant.
