FRANCES E. “PUD” GREEN [Bloomington]

— BLOOMINGTON — Frances E. “Pud” Green, 91, of Bloomington, died on Dec. 9, 2013 at her home in Lehigh Acres, Fla.

She was born in Hampshire, W.Va., on Dec. 19, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Jacob Howard and Mary (Bean) Howard.

Frances was a member of the Bloomington United Methodist Church. She was a cashier and checker in the A&P Store in Westernport and a homemaker.

 Frances is survived by her husband, Lloyd Green and her son Richard Green of Bloomington. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Winona Sowers of Lehigh Acres; and a nephew, Lloyd Sowers of Tampa, Fla.

Friends will be received at the Fredlock Funeral Home in Piedmont, W.Va., on Friday, Dec. 13, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the Fredlock Funeral Home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Gary Rankin, Pastor of the Bloomington United Methodist Church officiating.  

Interment will be in Nethkin Hill I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Elk Garden, W.Va.

The family request that memorials for Frances be directed to the Bloomington United Methodist Church, P.O., Box 175 Bloomington, MD 21523.

Pallbearers for Frances will be Bernie Fazenbaker, Ernie Metz, Mark Carpenter, Glenn Davis, Bruce Dellinger and Buck Baker.
