— PIEDMONT, W.Va. — Garland Eugene “Gene” Riggleman, 53, of Piedmont, W.Va., died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.

Born on Aug. 17, 1959, at Romney, W.Va., he was a son of the late Marvin Riggleman and Sarah (Davis) Hines. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Riggleman.

Mr. Riggleman was a 1978 graduate of Hampshire High School and was a member of the Piedmont Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was also formerly employed as a driver with both Yellow Cab and V.I.P. Limousine.

Surviving are his children, Kimberly Riggleman and Raymond Foster, both of Cumberland; a brother, James Riggleman, of Romney; special friends who cared for him, Paul and Molly Corbin, of Fountain, W.Va. and several stepbrothers; stepsisters; nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, there will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be conducted in the Christ Community Church, Augusta, W.Va., on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 2 p.m.

The Smith Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
