GRANTSVILLE — Paul D. Winter, 55, of Grantsville, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his residence.
Born July 6, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was the son of Eleanor L. (Yarosz) Winter, Grantsville and the late Michael L. Winter.
Mr. Winter was a National Sales Manager for Omicron Electronics Corp. USA and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He attended Montour High School, Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, graduated from Southern High School, Oakland, and was currently attending Grantham University. Paul played in the Mountaintop Softball League, Mountaintop Volleyball League and was a member of various electrical associations. He was a member of Grace Community Church, Grantsville, Grantsville Lions Club, Grantsville Community Choir and Garrett Choral Society. Paul was a former member of Grantsville Post 214, Sons of the American Legion.
Paul loved to travel for business and personal, having visited all 50 states and 55 countries. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved to ride his Harley.
Along with his mother, he is also survived by his wife, Robin A. (Miller) Winter; three daughters, Sarah Lewis and husband, Logan, Bruceton Mills, W.Va., Natalie Winter and friend, Kayla Solonichne, Pittsburgh, Jennifer Lowdermilk, at home; one grandson, Jakob Lewis; father and mother-in-law, Wilmer and Carol Miller, LaVale; and best friend and golf partner, Duane Babcock.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Matthew Widder officiating.
Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.
