FROSTBURG — Thelma Mae Greene, 83, of Frostburg, formerly of LaVale, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Care Center.
Born April 13, 1927, in Skyler, Va., she was the daughter of the late Levi and Blanche (Galahan) King. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Greene; one daughter, Linda Dobos; one sister, Virginia King; and three brothers, Howard, Hampton, and Vernon King.

Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Atkinson and husband Richard, of Frostburg, Pamela Mae Jackson and special companion John Ruzanski, of Glen Lyon, Pa., and Donna Sivic and husband William Jr., of Eckhart; six grandsons, Ronald Whitaker, of Arizona, Marc Fehervari, of Lakewood, Colo., Eric Fehervari and wife Maria, of Littleton, Colo., Christpher Cedeno, of Glen Burnie, James Cedeno, of Glen Burnie, and Justin Kretzer, of Virginia Beach, Va.; one granddaughter, Jamie Kretzer, of Frostburg; eight great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Reichard, of Frederick and numerous nieces and nep-hews.
Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George Harpold officiating.
Following the services her body will be cremated in accordance with her wishes.
Private graveside services will be held at Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
