— RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Janelle (Wonders) Wolfe, 75, of Ridgeley, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Devlin Manor Nursing Home.  

She was born on April 24, 1937 to Vera Hartman Wonders and the late Earl Wonders. She was also preceded in death by her son, Greg Barker, Ridgeley; her grandson, Bryon Jesse Barker, Keyser, W.Va.; and her favorite grandmother, “Mom” Fansler.

Mrs. Wolfe was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church Fort Ashby where she was active with their Second Wind Ministries.

She is survived by her spouse, William “Frank” Wolfe; one daughter, Melissa “Missy” Jessen and husband Tim, Wiley Ford, W.Va.; one son, Gary “Scott” Barker and one daughter-in-law, Pam Barker, Ridgeley; one sister, Barbara Snyder and husband “Tex”, Ridgeley; one brother, Earl “Robin” Wonders and wife Sharon, Fort Ashby; three grandchildren, Dave Barker and wife Ashley, Frederick, Whitney Wilson and husband Jason, Ridgeley, and Deanna Jessen, Wiley Ford; three great-grandchildren, Carson Wilson, Ridgeley, Leah Barker, Frederick, and Paisley Grace Mason, Wiley Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at Scarpelli Funeral Home,P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, ( on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Wes Beahm officiating.

Internment will be in Fort Ashby Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in honor of her memory to be made to the Second Wind Ministries Backpack Program, in care of Calvary Assembly of God Church, Fort Ashby.
