KEYSER, W.Va. — Helen Marie White, 91, of Keyser, W.Va., formerly of Piedmont, W.Va., died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at the Heartland of Keyser Nursing Home.
Born on March 7, 1922, at Barnum, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Sybilla and Mittie (Bibey) Farris. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John Oliver White on Aug. 15, 1981; an infant daughter, Sharon Renee White; two sisters, Margaret McIntyre and Jean Johnson; three brothers, Ronald, Paul and Harry Farris and a daughter-in-law, Vickie Lynn White.
Mrs. White was a homemaker and was Protestant by faith. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Queen's Point Memorial Post 6775, VFW, McCoole.
Surviving are two sons, John Kenneth White and wife Anna Mae and Lonnie James White and companion Wanda Kinnie, all of Keyser; two sisters, Marian Pritts of Keyser and Ruth Carpenter of McCoole; three grandchildren, Gina White and fiancee Glen Moore of Keyser, Jennifer Bradfield and husband Carl of Keyser and Kimberly McCutcheon and husband J.D. of Morgantown, W.Va., and 11 great grandchildren, Greyson, Justin, Lily, Sydney, Emily, Samuel, Maren, Corynn, Mia, Elin and Miles.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Private graveside services for the family will be conducted at the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
