HYNDMAN, Pa. — Paul Frederick Bishop, 85, of Hyndman, went to be with his lord and savior Jesus Christ on March 31, 2013. He is together again with his wife of 59 years, Phyllis A. (Morgan) Bishop.
Born on March 18, 1928, he was the son of the late Plaine George and Nancy Rachel (Mitchell) Bishop.
He was a dispatcher for Interstate, Motor Freight Express and Gribble Trucking. He served in the U.S Army during World War II.
Paul enjoyed music and movies. He especially loved telling the story of him and his immediate family singing on WTBO 106 Radio Station when he was a boy.
He was preceded in death by brothers, James P., Marion G., Kenneth T., Ray E., and Donald L. Bishop; sisters, Marjore R. Groves, Katherine F. Williams, and Helen V. Ritchey.
He is survived by daughters, Sandra K. Allen and Donna L. Ralph of Michigan; son, Daryl L. and wife Connie Bishop of Hyndman; raised as one of their own granddaughter, Tina M. and husband Jeff Lowery; grandchildren, Aaron Reuss, Shaun Wright, Andrew Ralph and companion Martina, Karina Sheldon and companion Derek, Dara and Kyle Bishop; great-grandchildren Jada and Dalton Lowery, Plaine and Audrey Ralph, Andie Reneau, Jonta and Pierce Bishop, Cameron Wright, Dominic Danneffel, Izzy Weshe, and Jake Reuss; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 5 p.m. in Tristate Ministry Center (Hyndman Ministry Center) Hyndman, with Pastor Stevie Leydig officiating.
