— RAWLINGS — Oscar “Ozzie” LeRoy Leasure, 83, of Rawlings, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.

Born Sept. 2, 1929 in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Tolbert Leasure and Hallie Martha (Cross) Leasure.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ethel (McCleaf) Leasure in 2010; one brother, Ralph Leasure; and, three sisters, Virginia Weimer, Mildred “Millie” White, and Ruth Cook.

Mr. Leasure was a Master Plumber, then Supervisor, for Walter Yoder and Sons. He had also worked for R.H. Lapp.

Mr. Leasure was affiliated with First Presbyterian Church. He was the secretary and treasurer of Plumbers and Steamfitters, Local 489, Cumberland.

Ozzie had a strong passion for his blue-grass music and loved playing his guitar for family and friends. He also loved sports.

Survivors include his two sons, Ralph Leasure, and wife Diane Orlick, Ellicott City, and Gary Leasure, Greencastle, Pa.; one brother, Robert D. Leasure, and wife Nancy, Abingdon, Va.; and, his grandson, Kevin James Leasure.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Caroline Kelly, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
