BLANDON, Pa. — Paul R. Gaughan, 70, of Blandon, died on Feb. 9, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Bern Township, Pa., due to natural causes.
He was married to Lee Anna (McGann) Gaughan, at home.
He was born in Frostburg, to the late Thomas and Dorthelia (Hopkins) Gaughan.
He was employed for 32 years as a pipeline welder and construction supervisor for the former Hahn Contracting, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception RCC, Douglassville, Pa., and the Birdsboro Rod and Gun Club.
He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time in the mountains.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lee Anna are one son, Kevin D. and wife, Marcella Gaughan, of LaGrangeville, N.Y.; one daughter, Bridget A. Gaughan, partner of Jeffrey Grainger, Douglassville, Pa.; two sisters, Mary H. Gaughan of Mount Savage, and Terri Brust, of Greencastle, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Wesley, Jonathan and Julia.
He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Gaughan.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
