RONALD W. MORELAND [Arnold]

ARNOLD — Ronald William Moreland, 73, formerly of Cumberland and residing in Arnold, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Born April 28, 1939, in Cumberland, Mr. Moreland was the son of the late James Kirk Moreland Sr. and Ruth Holt (Matlick) Moreland.

A graduate of Fort Hill High School, class of 1957, Ron also graduated from Strayer Business School. He was a United States Army veteran and a retired certified public accountant having worked for various firms and for himself. Ron was a member of the C.P.A. Association.

Ron is survived by his significant other, Becky Enzor, of Arnold and his daughter, Dawn McConnell and husband John, of Middlesex, Vt. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Lynne, Sierra and Hope; his brother, James Moreland, of Cumberland; his nephew, Kirk Moreland and wife Teresa, of Wilder, Ky.; his nieces, Sheila Metz and husband Bob, of Cumberland and Kimila Keister and husband Scott, of Finzel; as well as nine great-nieces and great-nephews and one great-great-nephew.

Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, from noon to 2 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold McClay officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
