FORT ASHBY, W.Va. — Laura Mae Hetrick, 75, of Fort Ashby, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born June 17, 1937 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Black) Wiley.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hetrick.
Mrs. Hetrick was retired from the C&P Telephone Company, where she had worked in the payroll department.
She attended Church of the Annunication of Our Lady Catholic Church and belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary, Fort Ashby Post 6667, V.F.W.
Survivors include her two sons, John M. Hetrick and wife Kim, Strasburg, Va. and David Hetrick and wife Joy, Plainfield, Ind.; and four grandchildren, Jack, Grace, Emilee and Kelsey.
As per her wishes, the funeral service will be private.
The Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Fort Ashby, is in charge of arrangements.
