— CUMBERLAND — Olive Virginia (Ward) Eyler, 82, of Cumberland, died July 18, 2013.

Born Jan. 6, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Austin Jacob and Sarah (Twigg) Ward.

Olive and Ed were the owners of Eyler’s Flower Basket in LaVale. She was a member of the LaVale Century Club, and Maryland Delta Master Chapter Beta Sigma Phi.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Earl Eyler Sr.; son, Edward E. Eyler Jr. and wife Brenda, Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Suzanne Keith and husband K.C., Cumberland; brother, Austin Ward Jr. and wife Barbara, The Villages, Fla. Also surviving are four grandchildren, BJ Keith and wife Jill, Cumberland, Kelly Beck and husband Gary, Costa Rica, Nathaniel Eyler, Phoenix and Trista Read and husband Darin, Phoenix; and seven great-grandchildren, Sierra Golden, Makenna and Jacob Keith, Cumberland, Kristian and Shelby Eyler, Trevor and Hudson Read, Arizona.

By request she will be cremated and a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
