CHARLES E. RESH [Grantsville]

GRANTSVILLE — Charles Eugene Resh, 60, of Grantsville, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his residence.

Born Oct. 5, 1952, in Meyersdale, Pa., he is the son of Duella (Broadwater) Resh, of Grantsville and the late Clark Resh.

Mr. Resh was a lift truck operator for 41+ years at Clayburn, formerly Harbison-Walker Refractories. He was a graduate of Northern High School, class of 1972 and a member of Jennings United Methodist Church where he was trustee, usher and bell ringer. He was also a member of United Steelworkers and enjoyed attending horse pulls, tractor pulls and travelling in Amish Country. He will be remembered as a good son and brother.

Along with his mother, he is also survived by a brother, Morris G. Resh and wife Nancy and a sister, Linda Lou Resh, all of Grantsville.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday, April 15, 2013, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Ingrid Chenoweth, Pastor Karen Tate and Pastor John Skipper officiating.

Interment will be in the Grantsville Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Dr. Zaman and his staff, Dr. Poonai, WMRMC Hospital Staff on the 7th floor, Hospice of Garrett County and his special nurses, Kay, Grace and Mary and all who kept him in their prayers, sent cards and visited these last six months.
