FROSTBURG — Raymond Francis Minnick, 74, of Frostburg, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home.

He was born April 30, 1939, in Frostburg, to the late Marion J. Minnick and Mildred I. (Jefferies) Minnick. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Robert J. Minnick and wife Isabel, James B. Minnick, Joseph Minnick and John Minnick.

Mr. Minnick was retired from Kaiser Refractories of Mount Savage. He was Catholic by faith and graduated from Beall High School in 1957. Raymond loved country music and played multiple instruments, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Ann (Coleman) Minnick; son, Mark Minnick and fiancee Traci Finzel; two daughters, Cinda Wiland and husband David and Cheryl McKenzie and fiance Barry Glotfelty; ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Chris, Ty, Tyler, Katie, Sarah, Adam, Lindsey and Ryan; two great-grandchildren, Savana and Jerad; one sister, Leona Agnes Baker and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received at the Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel Agnew officiating.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
