CHARLOTTE M. FABBRI [Cresaptown]

CRESAPTOWN — Charlotte Mae Fabbri, 80, of Cresaptown, passed away surrounded by all of her family on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014 at home.

Born on Aug. 21, 1933, in Ridgeley W.Va.,, she was the daughter of the late Carroll F. Schriver and Gladys M. (Boyer) Schriver. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis Joseph Fabbri Sr.  

Charlotte was a member of Our Lady of the Mountains, Saint Ambrose Catholic Church. She was a 1951 graduate of Ursuline Academy. She was a former employee of the C and P Telephone Company. Charlotte was a past president of the Cresaptown Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2883 where she was past State President in 1999-2000. She loved to crochet, an avid Baltimore Ravens fan, watching her favorite channel HGTV, animals, and above all being with her grandchildren. Charlotte is a great loss to her family and her community and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her daughters, Debra Fabbri-Fuller and her husband Dr. Clayton Fuller of San Diego, Calif., Karen Ward and husband Larry of Frostburg, Kim VonStein and husband Gary of Cresaptown, and “her baby” Kathy Pell and husband Dave of Cresaptown; “the greatest son in the world” Francis “Joe” Fabbri Jr., and wife Toni; her sister, Kathleen Owens of Garden City, Calif.; grandchildren, Jeffrey Ward and wife Rachel, Natalie Ward-Gevedon and husband Justin, Hollie VonStein, Garrett VonStein and wife Brooke, Christopher Fabbri, Mandy Deter and husband Scott, Cassie Pressman and husband Jonathan, Jessica Pell and Jamie Evans, Jennifer Pell and Todd Bensavage, and NiCole Pell; great-grandchildren, Fiona and Iso Ward, Oliva Gevedon, Carson and Claire VonStein, Emily Huff, Karly Fabbri, Alexis Jedlowski, Kolten Deter, Bailee and Kayden Pressman, Dylan Pell, Aubri McIntyre, and Isabella Evans; and her dog Raven and cat Baby Girl.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com) McMullen Highway Cresaptown on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Mountains, Saint Ambrose Catholic Church on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in Saint Ambrose Cemetery.  

Donations may be made in Charlotte’s memory to the hospice unit.
