— CUMBERLAND — Louisa Marie Davidson, 78, of Cumberland, died March 29, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Louisa was born on July 15, 1934, in Romney, W.Va., daughter of the late John Coleman and Mary Ellen (Stump) Racey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett D. Davidson; two sons-in-law, Bob Twigg and Mark Kline; one grandson, Roger D. Piper Jr.; and three brothers, John Racey, Leonard Racey, and Kenneth Racey.

Louisa was a loving, generous mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for family.

Surviving are two sons, Garrett D. Davidson and special friend, Bob Seiler, Cumberland and John L. Davidson and wife, Tara, Ridgeley, W.Va.; three daughters, Debra E. Oates and husband, Michael, Fort Ashby, W.Va., Donna L. Shook and husband, Ron, LaVale and Krista A. Ganoe and husband, Larry, Romney; one brother, Eugene “Bud” Racey, Romney; two sisters, Beatrice “Bea” Jobe, Romney and Anna Dean, Romney; six grandchildren, Lisa Twigg, Bobby Twigg and wife, Becky, Jessica Miller and husband, Roger, Mark Davidson and wife, Amber, Marsha Davidson and husband, Kevin, Amanda Netzer and husband, Eddie; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends at the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney, on  Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Shaffer Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, Romney.

Pallbearers will be Mike Oates, Bobby Twigg, Katherine Ganoe, Walter Rich, Mark Davison and Richard Twigg.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Shaffer Funeral Home, Romney.
