RIDGELEY, W.Va. — Thomas “Tom” Henry Miller, 68, of Ridgeley, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Tom battled a rare cancer for a short time.
Born July 2, 1944, in Cumberland, Mr. Miller was the son of the late Clement Harry Miller and Dorothy (Winner) Miller. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clement Gerald Miller.
A United States Naval veteran having served on the USS Forrestal (CV-59), Tom was previously employed at Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, LaVale. He was a member of the Ridgeley American Legion Post 136.
Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte L. Miller; and his daughters, Tina Storey and husband, Ben, Michele Faidley and husband, Jeff, all of Cumberland, Crystal Miller, Ridgeley. He also leaves behind his sister, Dorothy Gilkerson of Ohio; and his grandsons, Christian Miller, Dakota Miller, Tyler Miller, Zachary Storey, and Justin Miller.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 5 to 7 p.m.
A memorial service will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 7 p.m. with Pastor Paul Dietz officiating.
