— CUMBERLAND — Beulah Arvella Stafford Stutler, 87, of Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born on Oct. 22, 1925 in Jordon Run, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John D. and Floda Mae (Goldizen) Barger. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph M. Stafford and her second husband Kenneth R. Stutler; her daughter, Rita McDonald; grandson, Steven James Stafford Jr. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Beulah was a homemaker. She attended several local churches in the area and enjoyed teaching Sunday School. The last church she attended was the Church of God on Industrial Boulevard.

Surviving are her five sons, John Milton Stafford and wife Linda, Douglas Dirrel Stafford and wife Diane, Steven James Stafford and wife Nancy, Rocky Joe Stafford and wife Donna, and Mark Kevin Stafford and fiancé Becky; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com) on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Michael Mudge officiating.  

Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
