WILMA G. (FRATZ) EDWARDS [McHenry]

MCHENRY — Wilma Grace (Fratz) Edwards, 90, of McHenry, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville.

Born Aug. 8, 1923, in Accident, she was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Anna (Bittinger) Fratz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Edwards, Aug. 21, 2013; one son, Robert C. Edwards; three brothers, Donald, Wayne and Robert Fratz; and three sisters, June Wilt, Hazel Wright and Martha Leese.

Mrs. Edwards was a beautician and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Zion Ladies Aid and Heritage Quilters.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol S. Williams and husband, Tom, Tampa, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Judy Edwards, Springfield, Va.; two brothers, Allen and Gary Fratz, both of Accident; four grandchildren, Philip Schlossnagle and wife, Cashawna, Erin Hintz and husband, Christopher, Beth Priest and husband, Colin and Allison Edwards; six great-grandchildren, Garrett, Grant and Landon Schlossnagle, Jadon Hintz, Lauren and Stella Priest.

Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 26722 Garrett Hwy., Accident (McHenry), on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the Zion Lutheran Church on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Riebau officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Garrett County.
