EDNA E. MAUST [Springs, Pa.]

— SPRINGS, Pa. — Edna Elizabeth Maust, 101, of Springs, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Golden Living Center, Meyersdale, Pa.

Born Aug. 31, 1912, in Springs, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry and Sarah (Hershberger) King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Maust; one son, Wayne Maust; four brothers, Clarence, Dan, Olen and Walter King; four sisters, Olive Hollada, Emma King, Anna Lohr and Mildred Teets.

Mrs. Maust was a homemaker and a member of Maple Glen Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by a son, Barry V. Maust, Springs; two grandchildren, Richard Maust and Lori Haines; two great-grandchildren, Brent Thomas Maust and Carli Haines; three step-grandchildren, Kortni Sterner, Brooke Sommers, Haile Hotchkiss; four step-great-grandchildren, Kohen, Keigan, Colton and Kayson.

Friends will be received in the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre officiating.     

Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
