— FROSTBURG — Kelly Melinda (Swader) Dent, 36, of Frostburg, passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born on March 31, 1976 in Farmington, N.M., she was the daughter of Haskell R.“Bob” and Pamela J. (Bragg) Swader. She was also preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Haskell E. and Elizabeth A. (Cook) Swader; and her maternal grandfather, Joseph E. “Gene” Bragg.

Kelly was employed at the Hillside Animal Hospital as a Veterinary Technician for fifteen years. She loved being outdoors, and especially loved being around animals. Kelly will always be remembered for her wonderful, always happy personality. She was a wonderful, devoted, and proud mother. Kelly put her family and friends always first with everything. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Lee Dent, of Green Spring W.Va.; her sons, Dalton and Jacob Dent, of Green Spring W.Va.; her mother and father–in-laws, Linda Dent of Burlington and Buck Dent of Ft. Ashby; maternal grandmother, Hazel M. Bragg of Centerville, Pa.; her two sisters, Tracy Coor and husband Leo of Bedford Pa., and Tammy Mills and husband Shawn of Cumberland; her nephew, Cameron Coor and niece Zoey Mills; special friend, Steve Winters; her lifelong friend, Venus Kidwell; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com) 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dan Dennison officiating.

Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Centerville, Pa.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Kelly’s memory to the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland to defray funeral expenses.
