— KEYSER, W.Va. — Joseph R. Hollingsworth, 77, of Keyser, died on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.

Born on July 11, 1935, in Keyser, he was a son of the late Edward Thad Hollingsworth Sr. and Mary (Smith) Hollingsworth. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Winnie (Campbell) Hollingsworth, on Nov. 21, 1996; five brothers, Edwin, Robert, Edward Thad, Hugh and James F. Hollingsworth and four sisters, Geraldine Bruce, Marion Hollingsworth, Eleanor Redman and Emma Jean Daniel.

Joe was a graduate of Keyser High School and retired from Westvaco. His special interests were spending time with his family and his grandchildren and at camp.

Surviving are his three children, Kimberly W. Hollings-worth and Mike Saville, of Keyser, Tami J. Shepherd and husband Craig, of Dayton, Ohio and Robert Bradley Hollingsworth and wife Kelly, of Keyser; his brothers, Elwood Hollingsworth and wife Anna Lee, of Keyser, Walter “Bill” Hollingsworth and wife Jeanette, of Upper Marlboro, Donald Hollingsworth and wife Felecia, of Houston, Texas and Lester C. Hollings-worth and wife Rita, of Clinton, and his sister, Wanda Woods, of Toledo, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Katelyn Jo Hollings-worth and Jacob Seth Hollingsworth; nieces; ne-phews; cousins and many friends.

Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m.  

Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013, with the Rev. Harry A. Coleman officiating.

Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens.
