CUMBERLAND — Gloria Ann Finch, 73, of Frostburg, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born June 8, 1939, in Cherokee, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Ann (Fluck) Irwin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Finch Jr.; and by a daughter, Glenda D’Abadie.
Mrs. Finch graduated from high school in Omaha, Neb. Once her children were raised, she received her Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She was a member of the Richardson/Plano Texas Does in which she served as an officer and the Red Hats in Plano, Texas. After moving to Frostburg, to reside with her sister, Sharon E. Irwin, Gloria was a member of the Frostburg Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughter, D’Anne Lawrence, Richardson, Texas; two sons, Buddy Finch, Crossroads, Texas and David Finch and wife Kay, Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted in Dallas on Monday, Nov. 19, 2012.
Gloria will then join her husband in their mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park in Texas.
