— GRANTSVILLE — Matilda J. (Summy) Yoder, 98, of Grantsville, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at the home of her son Jacob, after a period of declining health.

She was born Sept. 24, 1914, at Honeyville, Ind., a daughter of the late Jacob and Amanda (Yoder) Summy. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Menno J. Yoder; a son, Raymon M. Yoder and brothers, Eli J. and John J. Summy.

She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She is survived by sons Herman M. and Mary H. (Kinsinger) Yoder, of Vevay, Ind. and Jacob M. and Anna H. (Kinsinger) Yoder, of Grants-ville; a sister, Mary J. (Summy) Yoder; sister-in-law, Amanda Summy and brother-in-law, Milton J. Yoder. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 9 a.m. EST at the Niverton Old Order Amish Church with Bishop Noah B. Yoder officiating.

Interment will be at Summit Mills Old Order Amish Cemetery, Meyersdale, Pa.

Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville, is in charge of arrangements.
