— KEYSER, W.Va. — Norma L. Alt, 83, of 1310 Terri St., Keyser, died on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at West Virginia University Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.    

Born Oct. 26, 1929, in Keyser, she was a daughter of the late James F. and Ollie (Hinkle) Pennington. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Alt and her husband, Samuel “Sam” Alt, on May 15, 2005. Norma was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Mrs. Alt was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Keyser and also a member of Mill Creek Country Club and WIBC Women’s Bowling League Congress. She was a graduate of Keyser High School.  

Surviving are her two daughters, Penny L. Glass and husband John H., of Keyser and Beverly Kim Whipp and husband, Robert W., of Glen Dale, W.Va.; three grandsons, Corey Glass and wife Alicia, Devin Whipp and Kylen Whipp and fiancee Kati Barnhart; one granddaughter, A. Bree Whipp Ogle and husband Jody and two great-grandchildren, Ian and Kinley Ogle.

Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home, Keyser, on Friday, May 3, from 6 to 8 p m.  

Services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, May 4, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Judi Stump officiating.

Interment will follow in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser
