— CUMBERLAND — Louise Janet Lepley, 64, of Cumberland, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 27, 1949, in Cumberland, Mrs. Lepley was the daughter of the late Vincent Henry Wegman and Edith (Digman) Wegman.  

A graduate of Allegany High School, class of 1967, Janet was owner of Janet’s Expressions on Baltimore Street, Cumberland, and was also employed with the Allegany County Board of Education. She attended Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.  

Janet is survived by her husband of 46 years, Alvin “Butch” P. Lepley Jr. and her daughter, Tambi R. Drees and husband  David, of Frederick. She also leaves behind her brother, Tommy Wegman and wife Ellen, of Salisbury, Pa.; her sisters, Jean Wegman, of Frostburg, Carol Horn and husband Ron, of Cumberland and Kathy Wegman, of Frostburg; her special nephew, Brian Lepley, of Cumberland; her special niece, Donna Immel, of Cumberland, as well as other numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, second floor, on Monday, June 17, 2013, at 11 a.m.

Interment will be in Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
